The new options include linear gradient, shape gradient, hatch fill, glass fill, and and texture fill. Linear gradients smoothly blend two colors, and shape gradients can be used to create unique and eye-catching effects. Hatch fills add texture to otherwise plain backgrounds, and glass fills create transparent effects. Users can apply these styles to both objects and bands, giving them more control over the appearance of their reports.

ActiveReports.NET v17.2 introduces Report Parts, which can be created from any report item, including tables, charts, text boxes, and images. This makes it easy for end-users to create complex reports without having to learn the intricacies of report design. Developers can specify the properties of the Report Part, such as its data binding, formatting, and visibility so that they that are tailored to the specific needs of their users.
