• Client-Side Export - This release adds client-side export to all JavaScript charting libraries - AnyChart, AnyStock, AnyGantt, and AnyMap. This will allow you to save your data visualizations as images (SVG, PNG, and JPG) and PDF documents without a roundtrip to the server, by leveraging built-in browser features for a seamless JS chart export, fast and secure.
• Milestone Preview on Parent Task Bar - This new feature allows the viewer of a Gantt chart to quickly understand which milestones a task has and then expand to learn more if needed.
• Custom Markers for Milestones - Release 8.7.0 also adds an option to customize milestone markers on Gantt charts by type and color. You can now easily differentiate between milestones of a non-identical nature within the same project by depicting them in different ways.
• Custom Basic Year - Previously, Gantt charts only supported the calendar year as the basic year period. Now, it is possible to define a custom one. For example, you can set a fiscal (financial) year, or an academic year, or any other year depending on what point of reference you actually need. Quarters will be formed accordingly.
• Legend - Added some icons support.
• All elements have own tooltip settings.
• Tooltbar improvements.
