Charts

• ErrorBar chart - The new ErrorBarSeries in Xamarin.Forms allows users to visualize the variability of data and indicates the errors or uncertainty in the reported values.
• BoxAndWhisker chart - The new BoxAndWhiskerSeries in Xamarin.Forms depicts groups of numerical data through their quartiles. The lines in the chart represent variability outside the upper and lower quartiles.

Word Library

• Table of contents - Allows updating the table of contents in a Microsoft Word document.
• Security - Encrypt a Word document with a password and open an encrypted Microsoft Word document with the valid password.
• SEQ fields - Word Library now allows updating SEQ (sequence) fields in a Microsoft Word document.
• Track changes enhancements - Word Library now provides the following features in tracked changes preservation:
  • Move-to and move-from revisions are preserved in Word documents (DOCX and WordML).
  • Move-to and move-from revisions can be accepted and rejected.
  • Style and section property tracked changes are preserved in Word documents.
  • All tracked revisions in a Word document can be accessed through an API.
• FirstColumn and LastColumn in bookmarks - Word Library now provides FirstColumn and LastColumn APIs to define the column range for bookmarks inside tables in Microsoft Word documents.
• Mathematical equations in Microsoft Word-to-PDF conversion - Word Library now preserves mathematical equations (MathML) when converting Microsoft Word documents (DOCX and WordML) to PDF.

Maps

• Marker virtualization - This feature allows users to virtualize a large number of markers when zooming and panning maps.

PDF Library

• Redact annotation - Mark the words or areas to be redacted with the Redact Annotation.
• Cloud style annotation - Create a shape annotation with the cloud style.

PowerPoint Library

• Extract OLE object - PowerPoint Library now allows extracting embedded OLE objects from a PowerPoint presentation.

Badge View

• Xamarin.Forms for WPF - WPF platform support has been provided for the Badge View component.

Chat

• Image messages - Support to display images as messages in a chat.
• Card messages - Display a list of interactive cards containing an image, title, and description as messages in the Chat control.
• Attachment button - Display custom buttons in the editor area to support media attachments in the chat.
• Load more messages - This feature allows you to load messages both automatically and manually (by tapping the load more button) when scrolling to the top of the list of messages.
• Single-line messages - Allows you to restrict users from typing multiline messages in the editor.
• Sticky keyboard - Choose to show or hide the keyboard after a message is sent.

DataGrid

• Cell selection - Support to select individual cells of the DataGrid.
• Data pager theme support - Customize the data pager’s appearance using predefined dynamic resource keys and built-in light and dark themes.

PDF Viewer

• Asynchronous PDF loading and cancellation - This feature allows users to load PDF files asynchronously and cancel the loading operation while it is in progress.
• Customize the position of handwritten signatures - This feature allows users to customize the position of handwritten signatures when the “Done” button on the built-in signature pad is tapped.
• Disable annotation interaction - This feature allows users to disable selecting, moving, and resizing annotations.
• Tiled rendering in Android - This feature allows users to render the PDF pages using the tiled layer approach in Android to reduce memory consumption.
• Enable or disable built-in toolbar dynamically - This feature allows users to enable or disable the built-in toolbar dynamically at runtime.

• Runtime refresh - Refresh the Popup control in a view for value changes and size changes.

Rich Text Editor

• Save image as base64 in HTML text - This features allows users to retrieve an image as base64 in HTML text.
• Default font size and font color - This feature allows users to set the default font size and font color of the Rich Text Editor.
• Placeholder customization - This feature allows users to set the font size, font color, and font family for placeholder text.
• Dark theme support - You can apply a dark theme to the Rich Text Editor using predefined dynamic resource keys.

Excel Library

• Export Microsoft Excel data to JSON files - Essential XlsIO supports converting Microsoft Excel data to JSON files by simply saving the workbook using the SaveAsJson method.
• Export Microsoft Excel notes to PDF - Essential XlsIO provides support to export Microsoft Excel notes to a PDF document that will be displayed similar to the worksheet cells or at the end of the worksheet.
