特性

  • Large Document Viewing & Server-Side Search : Provides faster rendering and superior performance for documents with 1000+ pages. Reduces memory load in the viewer, allowing for quicker return of search results.
  • Microsoft Office (MSO) Conversion*: If you need true native rendering of Office documents, this new MSO conversion service allows rendering of all Microsoft documents in PrizmDoc’s HTML5 viewer, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Form Field Detector: Recognizes a form (PDF AcroForm or raster file, .tiff, or bitmap) then automatically creates fillable form fields (text input field, check box, date, initial, and signature). You can then embed the forms into a website or application, and build in functionality to route entered data to a database.

*MSO Conversion and Form Field Detector are available as add-ons to PrizmDoc self-hosted and are included in cloud-hosted.

  • Viewing Client
    • Optimized the Viewing Client to discard page text when out of view. This reduces the amount of browser memory needed.
  • PrizmDoc Server
    • Removed the legacy Proxy Server component along with its dependencies, the proxyserver_jar.properties configuration file and PrizmCacheMgrService.exe.
    • Addressed multiple fidelity and stability issues related to the use of the legacy Proxy Server service by replacing its functionality with new micro services.
    • Improved Office rendering fidelity for Microsoft Word and PowerPoint files in the default Office Conversion service.
    • Addressed resource leaks within default Office Conversion service.
    • Improved loading and rendering of ODS files in the default Office Conversion service.
    • Improved text extraction and search for PDF files created by an OCR engine. Addressed failures with text extraction and search over searchable PDF files.
    • Corrected the accuracy of search, highlighting, and burning of horizontal text.
    • Improved text extraction service for more accurate recognition of the character rectangles’ width in PDF files.
    • Improved accuracy of the text extraction service for PDF files containing different page dimensions.
    • Addressed incorrect auto-redaction by improving the service to take into account the rotation flag when performing document redaction.
    • Addressed incorrect text selection on PDF files with non-default cropBox.
    • Added support for DICOM JPEG 2000 files.
    • Fixed incomplete image redaction of PDF files containing XObjects.
    • Fixed issues with loading file attachments from MSG files.
    • Addressed HTTP-580 error with the Viewing Session REST API that occurred due to incorrect redirection of one Viewing Session to another when both sessions were using the same source file.
    • Slightly corrected formatting of the Markup Burner XML specification in the product help files.
