PHP Tools for Visual Studio 1.19 released

PHP Tools for Visual Studio is a lightweight PHP integration for Visual Studio focused on developer productivity. It understands your code, provides smart code completion, quick navigation, syntax error checking, integrated PHP documentation, project system and debugging support.

Updates in 1.19

• Improved Project Properties - It is now possible to set the Web Root of a project.
• Smart Issues Resolver - Each project and server configuration is checked to ensure users won't have to deal with common issues. Both in project or during project launch (F5), issues are checked and automatic repairs are offered to the user.
• IIS Express and SSL Support - It is now possible to enable SSL binding and web site configuration is now checked for common problems and certificate issues. Furthermore, the selected PHP version is automatically downloaded and installed if applicable.
• Code Definition Window - Allow users to view the definition of a symbol in a separate tool window.
• Optimizations - Version 1.19 includes major optimizations mainly lowering memory requirements. Up to 75% less system memory is used while providing the same coding experience.
