PrizmDoc v12.1

Added support for CentOS 7 Linux, plus improved rendering and conversion of CSV files.
January 10, 2017
New Version

Features

  • Improved rendering of CSV files so they no longer render as plain text.
  • Improved auto-fit of CSV columns when rendering or converting to PDF.
  • Removed unnecessary dependency of the Office Conversion Service on the MS Office installation (when setting msOfficeDocumentsRenderer parameter to use "libreoffice" rendering mode).
  • Support for CentOS 7 (Community Enterprise Operating System - Linux).

Fixes

  • Improved processing of currently unsupported password protected documents with MSO rendering mode to reject them with the appropriate error (instead of failing by timeout).
  • Fixed the MSO Converter's error handling for the case when after the COM exception, the application instance becomes uninitialized to avoid implications on subsequent conversions.
  • Disabled rendering of sensitive formulas within Excel documents.
  • Updated product installer and documentation to require more heap size memory for the MSO rendering feature when running on 4-core systems.
  • Provided additional content in the product documentation about the Windows user account required when installing the product and running PrizmDoc service to make sure all MSO requirements are met.
  • Addressed invalid links in the product documentation.
