Common

• New material themes - New material light, material dark, material light blue, and material dark blue themes have been provided for both framework and Syncfusion controls.
• Theme Studio - The Theme Studio has been updated to customize the material light, material dark, material light blue, and material dark blue themes. Provides an easy-to-use and rich user interface design that enhances your application. All WPF Syncfusion controls and frameworks are classified by tab, so users can view the entire outcome in one place for any change in color codes. Eventually, the theme improvements can be exported to .NET Framework and .NET Core projects that can be added to your main application.

Excel Library

• Pivot table enhancements - Format and convert pivot table cells with background color, foreground color, borders, fonts, etc. Also create, edit, and convert the following pivot table layouts.

  • Outline layout

Checked ListBox

• Control the checked status using a Boolean property from your business object.
• Disable or hide scroll bars in the CheckedListBox.
• When there are no items, the ‘Select All’ option will not be shown.

Radial Gauge

• Tail support for needle pointer - This feature allows users to add a tail to the needle pointer and customize it.
• Rounded corners for range pointer - This feature allows users to customize the range pointer start and end positions with rounded corners.
• Annotation support - This feature allows users to add annotation text or views with customization options.
• Offset support - This feature allows users to adjust the position of rim, ranges, pointers, ticks, labels, and annotations based on the offset value and arrange them in relative positions.
• Label-created event support - This feature provides the support to customize the label text in label-created events.
• Visibility support - This feature allows users to change the visibility of ticks, labels, rim, first label and the last label of the scale.

Word Library

• Unlink fields - Word Library now allows replacing a field with its most recent result in the Word document by unlinking the field. When you unlink a field, its current result is converted to text or a graphic and can no longer be updated automatically.
• Word-to-PDF enhancements - Word Library now provides the following features in Word-to-PDF conversions:
• Adjust table cell size automatically based on its content during PDF conversion.
• Keep-with-next functionality for paragraphs inside the content control.
• Position floating items (images, shapes) with horizontal origins relative to characters.
• Improvements in converting a Word document into a 508-compliant accessible PDF (tagged PDF) document.

Image Editor

• Adding custom view to Image Editor - This feature allows users to add a custom view in the Image Editor and provide different customization options such as rotate and resize.
• File name support for saving images - Save an edited image with a specified name.
• Image picker support - Browse images in a local folder and load them in the Image Editor.
• Commanding support - Invoke commands from the custom toolbar to customize toolbar items of the image editor.

Maps

• Auto-zoom based on map geo-bounds or distance - This feature allows users to set the initial zoom level automatically based on map geo-bounds (northeast, southwest) or distance (KM/miles) from the geo-point center value.
• ToolTip support for map shapes, markers and bubbles - This feature allows users to show tooltip about the information on shapes, markers, and bubbles when they interact with them.
• Convert geo-coordinate point - This feature allows users to convert a geo-coordinate point to a screen point, and vice versa.
• Calculate the map tile layer bounds - This feature allows users to get the actual bounds of a map’s tile layer.

PDF Library

• Import and export XFA form data - Import and export PDF XFA form data in XML format.
• Find extended features in documents - Find out if an existing PDF document has extended features.

PDF Viewer

• Marquee zoom - This feature allows users to zoom a particular area of a PDF document by dragging the area using the zoom tool or keyboard actions.

PowerPoint Library

• Headers and footers - PowerPoint Library now allows creating and editing headers and footers in Microsoft PowerPoint slides.

Property Grid

• Control the margin, padding, and size of individual properties.
• Default UI occupies less space.
• Stop immediate value updates when editing a property.
• Navigation between properties is easier.
• Override default navigation behavior to meet your application needs.

Date Picker and Time Picker

• ComboBox-based design for a better user experience.
• Edit date and time like a text box control.
• When field editing is completed, focus will automatically switch to the next field.
• Keyboard navigation support.

Grid Splitter

• Expand and collapse rows and columns - Expand or collapse rows and columns in a grid panel even when a row span or column span is specified.
• User experience - The UI is improved to occupy less space, making it suitable for desktop environments.

Spell Checker

• Display a confirmation message once spell check is completed.
• Improved algorithm to find suggestions to show more appropriate words.
• Improved performance for finding suggestions for a wrong word.

AutoComplete (SfTextBoxExt)

• Token support - This feature allows users to display selected items from the suggestions as tokens. The customizable token representation allows users to remove an item with its close button.
• No results found template - This feature allows users to display text stating “No search results found” or custom text.
• Image member path support - This feature allows users to provide the path for an image to be displayed in the AutoComplete control.
• Drop-down UI support - This feature allows users to show a drop-down button in the AutoComplete control, so users can click and review select items, similar to a combo box.
