New Version

Features

  • New product - Stimulsoft Dashboards.BLAZOR - Added a new product: Stimulsoft Dashboards.BLAZOR. This is a cross-platform solution for data analytics. This product works both on the server (Blazor Server) and client (Blazor WebAssembly) sides. It allows you to display and analyze information from many data sources and has a wide range of components for designing dashboards.
  • Added a new graphics library - Stimulsoft.Drawing - An independent interface for displaying graphical objects. The GDI+ library is compatible with .NET Core for Microsoft Windows operating systems and libgdiplus - Mono Project for other operating systems.
  • Compilation for Blazor - This release adds support for 'compilation mode' when rendering reports using Blazor Server. You can now use all the features of the report generator - runtime compilation, functions and  publishing reports as classes. Compilation is available on all supported operating systems.
  • GraphQL data adapter - Added the ability to get data from various data stores using the GraphQL query model. This data source type has a number of advantages over REST or SQL queries.
  • Ribbon Chart - Added a new Ribbon Chart. This chart type is an improved version of the Stacked Column chart. Values for each argument are sorted from largest to smallest. A curve is drawn between the values (this is a ribbon), which allows you to estimate the tendencies and trends of indicators when analyzing. The chart is available in reports and dashboards. In addition, the ability to apply conditional formatting to the Range chart type has been added.
  • New features for Tooltip - Added the ability to visually design dashboard Tooltip elements for 'Chart', 'Region Map' and 'Indicator'. Tooltips are customized in the Style Designer. You can now design tooltips for your dashboards according to your corporate company style or the visual settings of dashboard elements.
  • New features for Pivot Table:
    • You can now sort rows and columns in ascending or descending order.
    • You can now define an expanded row or column condition when you use drill-down data.
  • Optimization for JS designer - Replaced the framework used for creating the desktop version of the JS report designer. Previously, NW.js was used. Now the designer is built using Electron. As a result, the speed of the application has been optimized.
  • New features for Cards:
    • Added support for cross-filtering and grouping mode with dashboard elements.
    • It is now possible to select a preset color collection to apply to cards or get this collection from the element style.
  • HTML preview modes - Added the ability to define HTML preview mode in the Preview Settings of a report. A report creator can now define the view mode as DIV or TABLE. It remains possible to define the preview mode for all reports at once, having set the appropriate value for the Web viewer option.
  • New features for Maps - The new functionality in this release also applies to maps in reports and GIS maps in dashboards.
    • For the Map component in reports this release adds support for data drill down. When clicking on a geographic object on the map, you can open another report page.
    • For GIS maps in dashboards this release adds the ability to specify a custom provider-server by URL.
  • ECMAScript 2017 - Starting with this release, Reports.JS and Dashboards.JS switch to the ECMAScript 2017 language standard.
  • Optimizations for OTF fonts - In the previous version, when exporting a report to PDF when using a *.otf custom font, the font file was completely embedded into the document, which, in turn, could significantly increase the size of a PDF file. Now it only integrates those font characters that are needed to render the text in the current report. In many cases, this will reduce the size of the PDF file.
  • New features of the WPF designer - This release adds the Code tab to the WPF v2 report designer. This tab is an analog of the same tab in the Stimulsoft Designer. In the report designer, the menu for opening and saving reports has been completely redesigned, having adapted them to the Microsoft Office style. The menu includes options for searching, fixing frequently used reports, specifying local storage, etc.
  • Support for M series chips - Added support for M series chips in the report designer for Apple macOS:
    • The report designer for Mac has been optimized to work natively with devices using M series chips without additional emulation, significantly improving its performance and making your work with data more efficient.
    • Increased the security of stored data.
    • Increased the speed of report rendering.
    • Reduced the level of power consumption.
