Press Release

Total Network Inventory includes powerful tools for software inventory and license management. Windows, OS X, Linux, FreeBSD and ESX/ESXi-based computers and servers can all be scanned without preinstalled agents. You can scan single nodes, network address ranges, or Active Directory structure and produce detailed inventory reports.

Features

  • Network at a Glance - Display network name, IP address, inventory number, icon, operating system and online status. In addition, the software automatically detects virtual systems.
  • Scan Computers - Microsoft Windows (Windows 2000 and newer), Apple OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, ESX/ESXi and any network device that supports SNMP or Telnet.
  • No Preinstalling Agents - Install Total Network Inventory on a single computer and you will gather information about your whole network in a few minutes.
  • Centralized Storage - Data storage is in a regular folder on your hard drive. Each computer is represented by a file about 35KB in size. You can easily move these files or back them up.
  • Hardware Accounting - Attach notes, inventory numbers and additional text, as well as price and date fields to your computers.
  • Smart Scanner - Find all nodes in an IP range, show a list of workgroup computers and extract the domain structure.
  • Scheduled Scanning - Create a list of assets that you need to scan later or repeatedly and tell TNI when you want them scanned.
  • Table Reports - The report constructor presents asset inventory data in a convenient and descriptive table.
  • Software Inventory - All software from your Windows and Mac OS devices is gathered in a single place with comprehensive search and filtering capabilities.
  • License Management - Store data on all the software licenses you own along with their parameters, license keys, expiration dates, EULAs and prices.
  • Live Licensing Status - Make sense of all critical data on software distribution and licensing in your network and see what software is currently licensed or not.
