Updates in 2026 Release 2
Features
RaptorXML Edition
- Ability to specify a timeout for lengthy operations
- Server administrators can now configure a timeout value to stop operations that are unsuccessful after the specified period.
RaptorXML and RaptorXML+XBRL Editions
- Support for XBRL Taxonomy Packages in Altova Taxonomy Manager
- The Altova XBRL Taxonomy Manager provides a centralized way to install and manage the XBRL taxonomies (and various versions thereof) required for your projects. The XBRL Taxonomy Manager now also natively supports XBRL Taxonomy Packages - standardized ZIP archives that bundle an XBRL taxonomy with all its related files and entry points into a single portable archive. Use of XBRL Taxonomy Packages by regulatory authorities is increasing due to this convenience and portability, and now it's even easier to process them with RaptorXML+XBRL Server.
- Updated XBRL-CSV Table Constraints 1.0 support
- The previous version of RaptorXML+XBRL Server introduced new support XBRL-CSV Table Constraints, a set of extensions that enable basic but efficient validation checks on XBRL-CSV data. In Release 2, support has been updated to include the requirements laid out in the latest working draft of the standard.
