Query Cloud Databases Without Leaving Your IDE

December 12, 2025
DataGrip 2025.3 lets you connect to AWS, Google Cloud or Azure and instantly register any as a new data source.

DataGrip is a multi-engine database environment that supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, SQLite, HyperSQL, Apache Derby and H2. It includes an editor that provides intelligent coding assistance such as auto-completion, analysis and navigation. It also features a query console for running and profiling queries.

The new cloud integration in JetBrains DataGrip 2025.3 makes it much easier to work with databases hosted on major platforms. Instead of manually exporting credentials or switching tools, you can now link your AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure account directly, browse all your databases, and create a data source for any of them. This allows you to start querying or developing against remote databases much faster.

Detect TypeScript Memory Issues Automatically

December 9, 2025
WebStorm 2025.3 now alerts you when the TypeScript service runs out of memory, helping you fix problems before they affect performance.

JetBrains WebStorm is a powerful and modern Integrated Development Environment (IDE) specifically designed for web development. It offers a feature-rich environment that supports popular web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js. WebStorm helps you write cleaner, more efficient code with features like syntax highlighting, auto-completion, code refactoring, and built-in testing tools. It integrates seamlessly with various web frameworks and libraries, making it a versatile choice for both front-end and back-end development.

The WebStorm 2025.3 update now monitors 'stderr' output for out‑of‑memory messages from the TypeScript language service. When it detects an out-of-memory (OOM) event during a large project compile or analysis, it immediately shows a notification recommending you boost the service’s heap size. This makes diagnosing memory issues more transparent and helps you get back to coding faster.
