RapidSpell Web Java v5.0 released

New version adds a spell check options dialog.

RapidSpell Web Java provides JSP developers and designers with a cross browser, spell checking solution. It requires no client installation, no special security settings and includes as much programmatic flexibility as you want. RapidSpell Web Java includes 2 interfaces, an inline highlighter and a fast (no post back) dialog interface. It uses customizable 140,000 word U.S. and U.K. dictionaries and an advanced suggestion engine. Australian and Canadian dictionaries are available freely on request and non-English dictionaries are also available.

Updates in v5.0

  • Spell check options dialog added.
  • Added support for the context menu key on the keyboard, and enabled the selection of suggestion menu items with the keyboard.
  • Microsoft Edge browser support added.
  • jQuery UI based dialog mode added (for Javascript based usage only).
  • Modal mode improvement to use jQuery UI dialog (for Javascript based usage only).
  • Smaller bug fixes.
