VaxVoIP iOS SIP Phone SDK Licensing

One software license is required per product, per year.

The VaxVoIP SIP Phone SDK is provided under a single software brand product license. This license allows the Licensee to use one SDK license for a single software application, with limited distribution rights.

A licensed software vendor may distribute a fully compiled binary application to any number of end users. However, redistribution of the SDK itself or its source code is not permitted.

Any software developed using the VaxVoIP SIP Phone SDK must only operate with the Service Provider or SIP Server owned by the license holder.

Examples:

  • Developing a Softphone for Your Own VoIP Service
    • After purchasing the license, the customer receives a License Key. Using this key, the customer can generate development keys for use on multiple computers, limited to development and testing purposes only. Multiple development keys can be generated for the same product during development.
    • For production deployment, the customer must generate one product key, which can only be used to run the final product.
  • Developing a Softphone for Clients
    • If a developer wants to create a softphone application and provide them to multiple clients, a separate license must be purchased for each client. Each license is tied to a single customer and cannot be shared across multiple clients.
