Redgate Software
Redgate Software counts Microsoft, HP, Sage, Bank of America, AT&T, the US Treasury and over 9,000 other leading organizations as customers of its software development tools. There are over 100,000 Microsoft technology DBAs, developers and testers currently using Redgate products. The company believes that by producing simple tools that solve the technical problems of Microsoft technology professionals it will continue to add value to the software development community. Therefore, it does not sell 'integrated' software with large, often unnecessary, feature sets. Redgate was founded in 1999 and moved to Cambridge at the start of the year 2000. It is a privately owned and managed company. Its focus is on Microsoft technologies. Redgate was chosen as a Global Gold Launch Partner for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and are a Visual Studio Integration Program partner.
Desaware
Desaware has lead the way in developing innovative software products to assist developers in their programming efforts. Based on experience going back to the days of Windows 1.0, the company understands the critical features needed by developers, sometimes presenting a solution before developers are even aware of the problem (as in the case of VersionStamper - a tool which solves the "DLL Hell" distribution problems). Desaware's products deploy advanced technology to reduce its customers' costs. Desaware's customer base ranges from independent contractors to Fortune 50 companies, all of whom have found that by using our products they can dramatically reduce time to market and provide more features to their customers than would otherwise be possible.
eDev Technologies
eDev Technologies was founded in 1999 and has its headquarters in Toronto Canada. eDev supports clients in their local time zones worldwide from its North American and Asian based offices, as well as through its network of global partners.
Pelnor Software
Pelnor Software believes that documentation is a crucial part of software development. The Pelnor Help Add-in was created to make software documentation a natural part of development.
In other help creation software, screenshots are taken and added to documentation by hand. Adding hyperlinks to an image or linking program controls to help files is a slow manual process. Once this process is done even minor changes to the program being developed can take hours to re-document. It's little wonder that documentation is often the last thing done in the development process if it's done at all. Often documentation is looked at as just being too expensive.
The Pelnor Help Add-in was created to address these issues. The add-in allows you to document your user interfaces as you build them. New screenshots can be taken at any time with the push of a button. Image hyperlinks are created automatically. Controls in your program are automatically hooked up to their corresponding help topic by simply pointing the form Help Provider at the .CHM file. Pelnor's goal is to make documentation easier to produce, faster to create, and part of the development process the whole way through.
