Java Components & Java Libraries (Java Class Libraries)

Java components are Java libraries or Java Class libraries, JavaBeans or EJBs that allow you to reuse your own Java code or Java code written by someone else within your Java program or Java application. These Java libraries will include specific functionality that you can integrate into your Java project, perhaps allowing you to support a new feature that a user has requested you to add, such as transferring a file by FTP or HTTP or providing some sort of eCommerce capability to your Web site, such as authorizing a credit card.
