• New Bootstrap 4 Theme - A new Bootstrap 4 compatible theme is now shipped with Ignite UI.
• Angular 2 Components (CTP) - Ignite UI widgets now have component wrappers for Angular 2.   
• New Scalable Font Icons - The default Infragistics theme now uses jQuery UI font icons instead of image icons.     
• Modernizr 3.x Support - Modernizr 3.x is now supported along with older versions to detect touch environments .

  • Multi-Row Layout Feature - Create complex grid record layouts that contain multiple rows with cells that span multiple columns and rows.
  • Checkbox Appearance - The visual appearance of columns has changed to indicate when checkmarks are not tickable in display mode.

  • Improved Updating - Add new records at the root level or at a specified child level through the UI.
