ONLYOFFICE Docs Developer Edition consists of two (2) components that you integrate into your own application. Document Server and Document builder. Both components are installed on premise and integrate with your application. Document Server enables your users to edit, share and collaborate on common Office type ( XML ) documents - docs, xlsx and pptx. ONLYOFFICE Document Builder allows you to build a document easily without the need to actually run a document processing editor. It also allows developers to automate document building using templates or by inserting data from a database into a document or a set of documents. ONLYOFFICE Docs has all the features of a common document editor but is lightweight and can be easily integrated into your application. You may upload your own script for documents using the Upload your own script button and selecting the necessary file on your PC or create a new file from a sample script with your own data.
