PowerTCP Telnet for .NET CF provides advanced Internet communications components for handheld smart devices. It includes asynchronous support, improved use of generics, IPv6 and X509 certificate support. PowerTCP Telnet for .NET CF is easy to use, auto-login and option negotiation capabilities minimize coding. It includes inherent multi-threading support for user-interactive applications and a logging event for debugging session logging. PowerTCP Telnet for .NET CF is flexible, it includes explicit and implicit SSL security and international character sets are supported. It supports HTTP, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxy protocols and comes with Rexec, Rsh and Rlogin components in addition to Telnet.

PowerTCP Telnet for .NET CF includes the following components:

  • Telnet Component - Enables the use of the Telnet protocol within any .NET CF application.
  • Rlogin Component - Enables the use of the remote login protocol within any .NET CF application.
  • Rexec Component - Enables the use of the remote execution protocol within any .NET CF application.
  • Rsh Component - Enables the use of the remote shell protocol within any .NET CF application.

Telnet .NET CF Component - The Telnet component fills the Telnet gap in the .NET Compact Framework by providing easy communication with remote Telnet servers. Features include:

  • Login function that automatically sends username and password
  • Automatic and manual option negotiation options for maximum flexibility
  • Explicit and implicit SSL security options
  • Blocking reads that wait for defined delimiters, specifically designed for scripting applications
