Redgate Software counts Microsoft, HP, Sage, Bank of America, AT&T, the US Treasury and over 9,000 other leading organizations as customers of its software development tools. There are over 100,000 Microsoft technology DBAs, developers and testers currently using Redgate products. The company believes that by producing simple tools that solve the technical problems of Microsoft technology professionals it will continue to add value to the software development community. Therefore, it does not sell 'integrated' software with large, often unnecessary, feature sets. Redgate was founded in 1999 and moved to Cambridge at the start of the year 2000. It is a privately owned and managed company. Its focus is on Microsoft technologies. Xceed Software
Xceed Software creates, markets and distributes quality software components for Microsoft Windows developers. Since its launch in 1994, Xceed has been devoted exclusively to the Microsoft platform. The company's very first product, Xceed Zip Compression Library, was first offered as a VBX for Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 and has been so successful that it has been migrated to every Microsoft platform since, including ActiveX, the .NET Framework, and the .NET Compact Framework. Today, Xceed's product line can be grouped into two main categories: Data Manipulation components and User Interface components. Lassalle Technologies, a publisher of software components was founded in 1997. It is committed to creating powerful flowcharting/diagramming components. AddFlow is the main product and is available in both ActiveX and .NET editions. AddFlow is now very well positioned in the ComponentSource Top 50 Best Sellers. It also provides graph layout components which automatically display graphs or flow charts in a reasonable manner, following some aesthetic rules (hierarchic, symmetric, orthogonal, etc.) Currently, over 2,000 companies, in 60 countries, use Lassalle Technologies products.
