Is the license permanent (perpetual) or temporal (time-limited)?

All Text Control licenses are permanent. You can continue to use the purchased product after your subscription period ends.

What happens after my subscription expires?

You can continue to use the licensed products for as long as you require. Subscription expiry means that you will no longer receive future product updates unless you upgrade. It is possible to renew your subscription at a lower cost than buying a new license, if you do so within 30 days after the expiry date.

Can I co-term (align) my existing licenses?

Yes - ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or to discuss your needs.

Can I upgrade my license?

Upgrades are available to the latest version of TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms Professional from recent versions. See details.

Can I add a new license / previous version to my existing Text Control account?

Yes. All versions can be added to a Text Control account. Please Contact Text Control to discuss your requirements.

Can I buy an old product version?

If you order the current license with 1 year subscription, Text Control can provide any older license of the same software for free.

Can I install my license on more than one machine?

Can a license be transferred from one developer to another?

Yes. A license can be transferred from one developer to another. Please note that the first developer will no longer allowed to use the software.

What type of support do I get?

When you purchase a TX Text Control Subscription license you are entitled to an unlimited amount of free technical support during your subscription period. This includes direct access to the support engineers by telephone, e-mail and online chat. All support requests are free of charge for active subscriptions.
