I'm an Access programmer, and VBeXpress made it possible for me to create a VB front-end to my Access database in record time. It all works so smoothly and straightforwardly that you quickly forget what a great job it does. I like the way they generate the code, which includes helpful comments and explanations. As a VB6 newbie I would not have been able to ship the fully working application with its business rules and everything in 2 months without this excellent product. I don't know how other VB programmers write database programs, but it can't be this easy. What I like most about VBeXpress is that there is not a huge learning curve. You give it your data structure, tell it about any unusual aspects of the data, and then click a button to generate the application. There are no strange libraries or special components. Just take the generated code and forms, open it in VB6, and tidy up things to suit the way you like them. But it all works and allows you to add/change/delete records immediately. Not only can you produce a complete database app in VB, but it allows you to create a web site to edit the data as well. Because it is a 3-tier structure, you can put all the business rules in the middle tier and it all works. The product support is absolutely brilliant.

If you write applications with a lot of database table interaction then VBeXpress will save you the purchase cost in a couple of applications. It takes all of the tedious creations of data access classes and does the coding in about 2 minutes. It will also give you some tips about your database design along the way. When you use SQL stored procedures for data access then these stored procedures are also created for you to load in to your SQL Server. The support from these guys is first rate with all my silly questions answered quickly and patiently.
