ActiveReportsJS is licensed on a per-Hostname basis with no per-user fees and no run-time royalties. A New License is available as an annual or perpetual license, both of which include 1 year of maintenance.

Renewals

Maintenance Renewals are available for ActiveReportsJS Perpetual Licenses, and ensure that you have the latest features. If you do not renew your license you are entitled to use your licensed version, but will not have access to any new versions that are released. Maintenance is included with ActiveReportsJS Annual Licenses.

FAQs

Is the license permanent (perpetual) or temporal (time-limited)?

ActiveReportsJS is available as an Annual or a Perpetual License.

  • Annual Licenses include 1 Year Maintenance, but you must purchase another license to continue using the software after 1 Year.
  • Perpetual Licenses include 1 Year Maintenance, and allow you to continue to use the purchased product after your maintenance period ends.
What happens after my subscription expires?

You may continue to use ActiveReportsJS Perpetual License after your maintenance period ends, however you will not have access to new releases and telephone support unless you purchase a Maintenance Renewal.

In order to continue to use ActiveReportsJS Annual License after 1 Year, you must purchase an Annual Renewal.

Can I co-term (align) my existing licenses?

Yes - ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or to discuss your needs.

How many Developer Licenses are included?

Single Deployment Licenses include unlimited Developers, 1 Hostname Deployment License, and 2 Additional Hostnames for testing purposes.

Single Domain Licenses include unlimited Developers and unlimited Hostnames on a single Domain.

Unlimited Domain Licenses include unlimited Developers and unlimited Domains or Hostnames.

What type of support do I get?

All licensed users have access to the ActiveReports Forums, which have an active customer base and input from the technical support team.

Users with urgent questions can submit a ticket through MESCIUS (formerly GrapeCity)'s online form.

Users with a current Annual Maintenance subscription can contact the technical support team via phone, and unlimited tickets. Annual Licenses include 1 Year of maintenance. Perpetual Licenses incude 1 Year of maintenance which can be renewed upon expiry.
