Spread.NET includes 1 Year Maintenance. This provides you with unlimited technical support through ticket submission and phone, and entitles you to download any major releases that are made public within one year following your purchase.

A Maintenance Renewal is the most cost-effective way to ensure that you have the latest features. If you do not renew your license you are entitled to use your licensed version, but will not have access to any new versions that are released.

An Upgrade License is available to owners of any old versions of Spread.NET at a significant saving over the cost of a new license. It allows the licensee to access the latest version and includes 1 Year Maintenance.

FAQs

Is the license permanent (perpetual) or temporal (time-limited)?

Spread.NET licenses are perpetual and include 1 Year Maintenance. You may continue to use the purchased product after your maintenance period ends.

What happens after my maintenance period expires?

You may continue to use Spread.NET after your maintenance period ends, however you will not have access to new releases and telephone support unless you purchase a Maintenance Renewal

Can I co-term (align) my existing licenses?

Yes - ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or to discuss your needs.

Can I upgrade?

Upgrades are available from the previous version of Spread.NET to the current version.

Can I buy an old product version?

MESCIUS (formerly GrapeCity) does not offer previous versions for sale directly, but if you purchase a new license for Spread.NET, MESCIUS (formerly GrapeCity) will provide you with the version of the product that you need. Please contact us to request an older version.

Do I need to buy a license for my build machine?

Yes. You need a separate license for your build machines.

Do I need to purchase licenses for my customers?

No. Spread.NET includes royalty-free redistribution. Provided your customers are using Spread.NET as part of your application, they do not need a license. Anyone who has design time access (the ability to code) will need to own a license.

Is Source Code available?

No. Source Code is not available for Spread.NET.

What type of support do I get?

All licensed users have access to the Spread Forums, which have an active customer base and input from the technical support team.
