Highcharts iOS Licensing

Highcharts iOS is licensed per Developer and for either a Single App or Unlimited Apps.

Highcharts iOS for Single App
Allows an agreed number of developers in your company to work with Highcharts iOS.
Allows Highcharts iOS to be used in one app.

Highcharts iOS for Unlimited Apps - Call For Price.
Allows an agreed number of developers in your company to work with Highcharts iOS.
Allows Highcharts iOS to be used in unlimited apps.

Any and all developers working with the software will need a license. Quantity discounts are available for 5 or more developers.

Advantage
All new licenses come with a full year of Advantage.
As long as you have an active Advantage, you are entitled to all minor and major releases, in addition to access of Highsoft's premium support offerings.

Standard Support if you have no active Advantage provides:

  • 1 hour of support per developer.
  • Access to the Highcharts Forum.
  • Access to 1st line support.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours response time, working days CET.

Premium Support is included with Advantage and provides:

  • 10 hours support per developer.
  • Updates to minor releases.
  • Updates to major releases.
  • Access to the Highcharts Forum.
  • Access to 1st line support.
  • Guaranteed 24 hours response time, working days CET.
  • Access to 2nd line support by core developers.
  • Chat support**.
  • Emergency hot fixes.
  • Guiding and advice on implementing Highcharts (with third party systems and platforms).

** Chat support is not offered for the Highcharts .NET, Highstock .NET, Highcharts iOS and Highcharts Android, or Highcharts Mobile Wrapper Licenses.

Advantage Renewals
To ensure access to the newest features and premium support offerings, you need an active Advantage subscription plan. Renewals are available after the initial Advantage term. Highsoft offer renewals for 12 and 24 months. Please contact us for multi-year options.

FAQs

Is the license permanent (perpetual) or temporal (time-limited)?

All Highcharts iOS licenses are perpetual for the current version and come with a 12 or 24 months Advantage subscription which includes premium support, plus access to new versions. When the Advantage subscription period ends, you may continue using the licensed version of the software.

Can I add more developers to my license?

Yes - you can purchase additional developer licenses.

What is the difference between a Single App License and an Unlimited App License?

Buying a Highcharts iOS Single App License entitles the licensed number of developers in your company to work with Highcharts iOS in one app. The Unlimited Apps license has no restriction on the number of apps. Please contact us for Unlimited Apps License pricing.

What type of support do I get?

All Highcharts iOS licenses come with a 12 or 24 months Advantage subscription. This includes:

  • 10 hours support per developer
  • 24 hour response time (working days, CET)
  • Updates to minor / major releases
  • Emergency hot fixes
  • Advice on implementing Highcharts

When the Advantage subscription period ends, you may continue to use the licensed version of the software, but will only have access to:

  • 1st line support
  • The Highcharts Forum
  • 36 hour response time (working days, CET)

Advantage Renewals are available.

What happens after my Advantage subscription period ends?

You can choose to purchase an Advantage subscription renewal for a further 12 months, or continue to use the current version of the product with the standard support level.

Does Highcharts iOS require online / offline activation?

There is no mandatory license key associated with the software, and no activation is needed. The License is solely a legal document and consists of two parts: The Terms and Conditions and the License Statement.

Can a license be transferred from one developer to another?

The developer license is not personal and applies to the number of seats, not the individual. You need a license for every developer who will be working with the software, i.e. the Highcharts iOS 5 Developer License allows for up to 5 developers to work on Highcharts iOS. If a sixth developer will be working with the software, you need to purchase an additional seat. However, if one of the current 5 leaves the company, and is replaced, you will be covered by the 5 developer seats.
