MadCap Flare licenses are time-limited and you must purchase a renewal in order to continue using the software after the subscription period ends. For further information, please see the License Agreement.
After expiry, you will no longer be licensed to use the software. In order to continue using it you must renew your subscription. For further information, please see the License Agreement.
Yes. ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or send us a message to discuss your needs.

MadCap Software does not sell previous versions directly, but purchasing any new license gives you access to download older versions of the same product.
Yes. Each license can be installed on two different machines, as long as they are both on different domains.
Yes. You can deactivate your license from within the Help Ribbon, or the MadCap support team can help you transfer a license to another developer.
New MadCap Flare licenses include a 12 month Platinum support and maintenance subscription. This provides product upgrades and updates, unlimited priority email and telephone support, access to the Senior Engineer support team, access to the knowledge base and forums, and the option to send projects directly to the support team for analysis. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Pacific Time).
Only Floating and Enterprise Floating licenses need an internet connection to use the license.
