Every element is configurable down to the last nut and bolt.

amCharts is extremely flexible not only because each property of every individual element can be configured, but also because they can be modified automatically via a number of factors like data, heat rules, states that are applied under certain conditions, responsive conditions, custom functions, and a number of other situations.

The charts also offer unprecedented level of control, such as custom angles for Pie and Radar charts, variable-radius Slices, flexible layout engine, and many other functions.

Furthermore, anything can be anything, and most of the elements can contain other elements within them. So even if you want to have a full-fledged Pie Chart as a bullet on a Line Series, you can do so. This level of flexibility allows building extraordinary visualizations.

Besides supporting vanilla JavaScript, amCharts supports various web app development frameworks out-of-the-box. Angular, React, Vue.js and other apps using ES6 modules can just use amCharts - no additional add-ons or wrappers required. There’s also bundled Ember.js plugin.

In amCharts, every numeric property can be attached a "heat rule". Meaning you can make the chart to automatically choose a value for a property of any object based on its value in data. And it's not limited to just colors, like in traditional heat maps. Want to modify radii of bullets based on value? Easy. Need width of the Force Directed link to reflect a value? Doable. And best of all, you can apply combine multiple heat rules on the same objects.

amCharts was designed to work flawlessly on mobile and hybrid computer touch screens. Developers have choice on how to enable integration with the overal user experience on touch-enabled devices. The charts do not “steal” page gestures unless necessary.

amCharts was designed from the first line of code with accessibility in mind. It supports best practices for labeling, tab indexing, and keyboard support. The charts and maps come with accessibility features enabled by default, enabling screen readers to effectively identify key elements like data as well as controls, giving vision and mobility impaired users full control of the data visualizations.
